KitchenAid Small Appliances

My work with the KitchenAid brand began in 2012 with the design and launch of the Proline Toasters.  Zinc die cast and meant to "live" on the countertop (and not in the pantry) it helped fuel a resurgence in KitchenAid countertop appliances. 

In 2014 I was fortunate to be given the task of "redesigning" the stand mixer to capture a more space constrained audience.  How do you alter an icon?  Very carefully:) paying special attention to its character so that the changes feel appropriate and "inevitable."
